For T-Mobile users
Just type *#*#4636#*#* and in the phone info, “turn on SMS over IMS”.
For Verizon Wireless users
THE FIX: (1) Wait 37 days after the carrier switch. (2) Text “HELP” to 739-81. (3) Wait 24 hours. (4) Try Safepass again, see if it works. (5) If this fails, call BofA support and have them manually remove your phone as a SafePass device (you won’t be able to, because removing it requires you being able to receive a code), and then try re-adding it.
For Sprint users
Call or chat with Sprint Tech support so a rep can reprogram your device, disable/enable text etc. After a rep helps you, you do a test text message to 73981 and if you get a reply, you are good to go. http://www.sprint.com/landings/chat/
